First impressions, very clean and fresh. Staff lovely and caring. Always staff on hand looking after residents. Residents are treated like family and all seem very happy.

After visiting 40 care homes from Cumbria to Lancashire, Coniston House stood out for the friendly and caring staff, clean, big rooms and good, wholesome food. After being there for 18 months and during Covid they have gone the extra mile to help and make sure residents have their say in what goes on in the home. Activities are key to keeping Mum occupied and they have gone that extra mile to make Mum feel at home.

My grandma is a current resident of Pendle Brook and is set to stay there for the foreseeable future. Our experience so far has been nothing short of positive. The quality of care is outstanding, the staff are so friendly and it’s very reassuring to know my grandma is being so well looked after. My grandma's feedback is that the carers treat her with respect and dignity at all times, the food is excellent and the premises are always spotless.

In my opinion, Coniston House is a very good care home. It is very clean and provides lots of activities for the residents. The food provided is also excellent. The main attribute of Coniston house is the staff. All the carers are very friendly and considerate and they provide fantastic care to all the residents.

My mum has gained a new lease of life since settling into this care home. She has happy, purposeful days among staff and residents who have become close and loving friends. We too feel valued and welcome when we go there. It really does what it says on the tin - Bank Hall Care Home is a home in its truest sense; not an institution.

The staff at Royley House go above and beyond what is required! They all really care about every one of their residents. They are entertained on a regular basis, every time I visit I am offered a drink, and everyone looks really happy!

Friend of Resident at Royley House

Royley House is a well maintained, bright and comfortable care home. It provides excellent care to all residents. They are treated with the utmost dignity and understanding. There are some outstanding staff members who go the extra mile and meet the needs of all residents. The home environment is light and spacious. It's entirely odourless and comfortable in every respect. I have been a constant visitor to the home over a seven year period and felt quite content with the care given to my Mum over that time. I am delighted to have been "lucky" enough to be offered this placement for my mum - a victim of severe dementia. The care given to her at the end of life was outstanding. I am truly grateful to the staff.

My mum came to Scarlett House six months ago. She has been treated very well and her health has improved tenfold since being here. The staff have treated her with dignity and with loving care, which has been a great relief to myself and family. I cannot praise the staff here enough.

My aunt was moved to Coniston House Care Home in May last year. I have been able to visit her in the past 2 weeks. When I was unable to visit I was always kept informed and keeping in touch with my aunt was well supported. Now I can visit her, I find the staff friendly, caring and professional. The home has a welcoming feel and is clean. My aunt seems happy and well settled. A very good place.

When phoning to speak to Mum, whoever answers the phone is always courteous and very friendly, nothing seems too much trouble. Mum says that the carers are really nice and friendly. When visiting Mum now, we have to be tested every time for Covid which can be a bit of a bind, but the staff are fantastic and very friendly so it does not seem so much of a chore really. Really good to talk to.
