We're Welcoming New Residents
We are safely welcoming new residents into our care homes. The safety & wellbeing of the people we support, their families and our staff is our top priority, that’s why our carers, office staff and other care professionals in our homes are being encouraged to receive the Covid 19 vaccine as soon as they are offered it.
Our Updated Visitors Policy Breakdown:
There can be unlimited nominated visitors for people living in care homes. Children under the age of 2 are not counted in the numbers.
Visits must be booked in advance with the Administrator of the home.
Pod visits and window visits are available.
Lateral Flow device test must take place immediately before the visit.
- Health declarations must be completed by each visitor. These are destroyed after 21 days.
- Currently, all Rochcare homes have a 3 x a day, 7 days a week system in place for face-to-face visits to take place.
Comply with the infection prevention and control measures, including a temperature test, mandatory hand hygiene, the use of PPE as required and social distancing requirements, remaining in the designated visiting area.
Personalised risk assessment is key, and Rochcare managers are committed to ensuring that visits occur in a safe, welcoming way.
