Senior Carer at Pendle Brook
I have worked in care over 28 years, starting in a small care home as a care assistant. I knew that care was the correct career path for me so I worked hard to progress to a senior carer, which I have done now for over 10 years.
There are so many reasons that I work in social care, it’s my world and my passion. I love making the residents feel special and included in all activities. The best part of my job is to make the residents and their families feel good and to make them feel happy and comfortable and that they feel at home.
I have completed my level 2 + 3 in social care. I have received my medication training and my first aid training in addition to all of the mandatory training provided from Rochcare.
The thing I am looking forward to the most working at Pendle Brook is working with my colleagues and meeting with the residents and their family and growing together.
