I have worked at Coniston House for 5 years, starting here as a senior carer, I was then promoted into a Team leader position in 2016. I have recently also taken on the role as administrator at Coniston although still continue to carry out my team leader duties within the home.
I am very passionate about the level of care that we give and also the progress that the home has made. I work closely alongside the Deputy and the Manager, supporting them in the general day to day running of the home.
I attend regular training sessions keeping my knowledge and skills up to date, I also achieved a NVQ level 5 management and leadership award last year
I am the home’s medication champion, providing and ensuring the safe practice of administration of medications. I train and update senior staff our systems, ensuring competency assessments are in place for administering medication.
