I have worked in social care for over 30 years. Starting off as a carer in a small residential home, I have progressed through the ranks as a senior carer then as a Deputy Manager. Now I am the Mental Capacity and Safeguarding Lead Champion at Coniston House as well as the Home Manager. I have completed NVQ’s at levels 2 3 4, the Registered Managers Award and a certificate in Leadership and Management. I enjoy working in Chorley, as it is my home town and I get job satisfaction knowing I am providing a safe and high standard of care for my local community who live with Dementia.
