Before joining the Pendle Brook team, I ran a children’s activity/party business and I quite often went into care homes and ran activities alongside the residents. I found the whole experience incredibly rewarding, so I was keen to get involved when the role of activities coordinator came up at Pendle Brook. I find working with the residents living with dementia particularly rewarding and love to see their faces come to life, especially through singing and dancing. My role is very rewarding, I thoroughly enjoy making a difference in the lives of the residents I work with and aim to make every day special for them.
