I have worked at Coniston House for 5 years I was made Deputy in 2016 working alongside the Manager, although I am now office based, I keep very much involved in the Care given to all our residents spending time with them on a daily basis.
I have worked in health and social care for 28 years in different care setting, gaining experience from Nursing, Residential and Dementia Homes.
I keep my knowledge updated by attending training sessions, recently completing my NVQ in Health and Social Care level 5.
I regard myself as a Mentor to staff and encourage them to progress within the home.
I am very proud of the home and the progression it has made in the last few years, the staffing team work well together providing a safe homely environment for our residents.
